Yearbook Club!

“Hey Jess!” McKenna exclaimed happily as she saw her friend across the table “I’m so excited to start working on the yearbook this year, aren’t“Oh yes! I’m very excited!” Jess replied to her friend, smiling. “I can’t wait to see who else signed up. Hopefully it’s our same friends from last year.” The two girls agreed just as they heard the classroom door open.

“Hey girls!” Called a voice from the doorway. Kenna and Jess turned to see and instantly smiled “Marisol! Mia! You made it!” They exclaimed happily together. “Of course! We wouldn’t miss it. Last year was just too fun to pass up. Is it just the four of us again? Or are we expecting someone else?”

They heard the door open once more and not one, but two people walk in. “Hi, I’m new here. Is this the right room for the yearbook club?” The girl asked. “Hey, she’s with me. Genevieve here is new and I’ve been showing her around today.” Grace said, now standing behind her.

“It’s nice to meet you, Genevieve. Welcome to yearbook club! Tell us a little about yourself.” Marisol said kindly. “Well, my name is Genevieve. I love to sing and play guitar. My friends and I have a girl band called Charms, and I have a little sister who is coming to live with me here soon.” She replied.

Once the introductions had been made, they then got to work! “Alright, here’s all of the photos we have to sort through.” Grace said, going through the pile. “What are we thinking for this year’s theme?” Marisol asked. “Maybe pastels? That seemed to be nice last year, it got pretty good feedback from the teachers.”

They cut, they glued, colored and measured. Soon the yearbook celebrating the soon ending school year would be finished!

Happy May, everyone!
