Welcome to my blog!

Hi! My name is Nina, I love to collect and photograph toys! I mainly collect American Girl Dolls, but I also collect Barbie, Liv dolls, and My Little Pony (G3). I consider myself to be a 2000's toy collector because the majority of what I own is from 2000-2009. However, there are many Barbie's and American Girl pieces that I own from the 2010's.

Five years ago my love for toys came back in the best way possible, it all started with American Girl. I pulled out my original collection with the utmost joy, and quickly realized how much I had truly missed the joy they always had brought me. Within just a few weeks, my collection slowly started to grow. My collection went from seven dolls to now twenty seven. I have sold a few along the way, but the reason for my continuous adoration for them stemmed back to my childhood. Through my hobby, I have made stop motions, videos, crafts, detailed sets and scenes, and have taken thousands of photos over the years. I never thought that something as simple as a love for my childhood toys would lead to becoming a photography student, and making the best friends I've ever had.

My reason for starting this blog, is to get away from social media, but to continue to share my love for my hobby. I was finding that social media was causing me unneeded anxiety, stress, self doubt, and negative thoughts. My best friend and I both decided together that it was best for us to take a step back from social media, either permanently, or something very occasional.

On this blog, you will see the adventures my toys and I have together, along with the many friends I've made along the way who share the same hobby. I'm so excited to share my creations with you, and hope you enjoy your time here!

Below are some of my favorite photos I have taken over the years!
